Her ASEA Story

Debbie grew up in the small town of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and spent many summers in the mountains of Colorado, leading her to develop a love for the great outdoors. After obtaining a business degree in fashion merchandising from Oklahoma State University, she became a buyer/manager for a ski shop in Aspen, Colorado, and later was a buyer/shopper for Bloomingdale’s men’s department in Maryland. Eventually, she started her own successful interior design company. Then in 1994, Debbie discovered network marketing, embarking on a new journey on which she could both help people and make a good living. With ASEA, she finally feels that has found a product and opportunity that allow her to help the largest number of people.

Debbie was raised in her small family- just one sister. When Debbie was still very young, her father moved the family to a wonderful acreage directly under Pikes Peak in Woodland, Colorado. Her love of the outdoors flourished. She had so many adventures running and hiking, rafting and kayaking.

Debbie has been a single mother since 2004 and has a close relationship with her two children, Jackie and Alex. “I have a beautiful, wonderful relationship with both of my children. In fact, my son will be getting married in a few weeks and I love his fiancé,” Debbie says. From the way she speaks, it’s easy to see how much love and excitement she has for her family.

Debbie first began to explore network marketing in 1994 after losing her father to cancer. She was determined to find new ways to help maintain peoples’ health without harmful and dangerous drugs. She discovered a company that offered alternative health products and began working with this company, helping others become healthier and earning an income.

Although she liked helping others and enjoyed the products, the company she worked for began to have leadership and business struggles. “After 12 years, I realized I couldn’t look someone in the eye and tell them that I could help them to build a profitable business,” she says. To make matters worse, her marriage had also recently ended, and her financial future became very uncertain as a single mother.

She found another job but the company ended up going bankrupt. Debbie eventually had to declare bankruptcy herself. She was on the edge of losing her home and she was working as a server in a restaurant just to survive. “I was depending on tips every single day,” she says.

One fateful morning, she received a call from her friend Cindy Buck, who was calling to tell her about a spectacular new product and opportunity. Things have only been getting better ever since! She began to use ASEA as well as sharing it with all the people around her. “I was sleeping so well and I was happy all the time! But for me, regaining my financial dignity is an amazing blessing,” she says. “It helped me save my home, help my daughter through college, help pay for my son’s wedding and to once again buy Christmas gifts for my family. ASEA has turned my life around!”

Debbie would like to encourage everyone to share in her success. “Be grateful for everything you have. Set your intention, be persistent in sharing, prepare to make a few sacrifices, then let the outcome run its course,” she says. And the restaurant that she was a waitress at just a few short years ago? It’s now her entertainment place to take visiting ASEA leaders and corporate executives!
